Remarkables 40th Spring Carnival! 

This winter, we are pulling out all the stops to celebrate 40 years of skiing, adventure, and community with the return of a nostalgia-packed 40th anniversary Spring Carnival.  

From 26-28 September, skiers, snowboarders, and mountain lovers are invited to join the festivities, featuring family-friendly activities, retro ski vibes and on-mountain action.  

The Remarkables Spring Carnival used to be a staple in the mountain’s event calendar until 2014.  

The carnival will pay tribute to The Remarkables’ rich history, from its humble beginnings in 1985 to its status today as an iconic ski destination.  

What’s on:  

Friday, September 26 

• Family fun with face painting, a scavenger hunt, and a bouncy castle 

• Sweet treats and ice creams

• Rail jam in the late afternoon – details to come  

Saturday, September 27 

• OOSC Retro Run – dig out your best 80s ski gear! 

• Ice Bar tunes with an 80s throwback  

• Alumni Crew gathering with drinks and nibbles  

Sunday, September 28 

• A scenic BBQ at Lake Alta, including a ski down the chutes 

• Grassroots Freeride competition showcasing local talent 

• Ice Bar music continues with more classic 80s hits
